Terminal Server

The system will support any DEC VT100 (or greater) compatible terminal. Any computer connected to the network and capable of Telnet and VT100 emulation, can be used with the system to maintain ICAM data. It may be possible to use existing workstations as system terminals in many locations. This is desirable to allow a department to control access to its facilities through an existing workstation in the department.

The number of simultaneous operators is dependent on the VMS license and the CPU capacity. The minimum recommended system allows up to eight operators to be active at one time. Configurations are available to support over 100 simultaneous operators.
